If you missed Basketball Sunday and would like to pick up your trophies, please make note of these opportunities to do so:
Tuesday - Thursday 2/23-25 in the lobby inside the front door of the Sanctuary. In front of the church office. The office is usually open 9-12 am and 1:30-4 pm.
Sunday 2/28 the trophies will be on a cart inside the WCGym doors from 5-7 p.m.
Wesley Chapel Basketball is a coed instructional league. We strive to teach and encourage good sportsmanship in all interactions with players, coaches, parents and referees. There are modified rules intended to enhance the experience and development for everyone involved in the program. Please read the updated league rules for details. The session fee is $120 with discounts for multiple children in the same family when registered at the same time.
There are 12 weeks of practice, and 10 games in the session.
There is a single one hour practice per week. Once established it is the same day and time throughout the session. There is a single one hour game each week. K-1st graders play early Saturday mornings, 2nd- 3rd graders Saturday late morning, 4th-5th graders play Saturday early afternoons and middle and high school ages play late Saturday afternoon or Friday evenings.
All head and assistant coaches must be background checked and take online Safe Sanctuary training. Coaches clinics are required. Please note the dates.
We do not offer seperate girls teams. Girls and boys play on the same teams together.
The league does not accept friend requests. Two players are assured to be on the same team only if their parents are coaching together. Teams are intended to be equal in ability and are formed in this manner:
